Kindergarten artists transformed into ice cream chefs last week to invent their own flavors of ice cream! They began the project by identifying the shapes they could use to create the ice cream cone and one (or more) scoops of ice cream sitting inside. Then they explored color mixing by blending different colors of oil pastel together until they achieved their new flavor. The results were extraordinary, including flavors like chocolate/cherry/bubble gum and mint/raspberry surprise!
